Z.I. Azgur memorial museum
The museum is based in the studio of an artist, Soviet Belarusian sculptor and
outstanding portraitist of the 20th century. The museum core collection –
sculpture exhibits (original gyps artworks mainly) – is comprised of separate
items, sketches and draft monuments. The painting and graphics collection
includes paintings by G.G. Azgur, G.N. and Y.G. Gorelovs and a gift collection
including paintings by Azgur’s friends A.V. Volkov, Y.A. Zaitsev and K.K.
Tsvirko. The museum’s auxiliary scientific collection includes frameworks,
templates, fittings, work instruments and personal belongings of the
sculptor.
Working hours: open daily 11 am-6 pm (except on Monday and Tuesday).
